Overview
Crystal Palace settled for a 3-3 draw against Hull City at the KCOM Stadium in the last league fixture. The tie saw more than one spectacular goal as both sides made sure it was an entertaining match.
However, Alan Pardew was disappointed after the Tigers midfielder Robert Snodgrass dived, which helped him to win a penalty for his side. He converted it and Hull took an early lead, but it was Wilfred Zaha who was the star player for the Eagles with a goal and an assist to help his side avoid a defeat.
Palace will be hoping they can bounce back after a draw when they host the Red Devils in the midweek league tie. In the last five Premier League fixtures played at home, Pardew's men have won two and suffered defeats in the other three fixtures.
United registered their first win in the Premier League at Old Trafford since September on 11 December, when they defeated Tottenham Hotspur. It was Henrikh Mkhitaryan's first goal in the league that helped them bag three points.
However, the Armenian international picked up an injury following a tackle from Tottenham defender Danny Rose. His services will be missed and it should be seen whether the former Real Madrid and Chelsea manager will bring on Juan Mata or his captain Wayne Rooney instead.
Antonio Valencia is suspended for the tie after picking up a fifth yellow card in the domestic competition against the north London club. He is not eligible for the clash against Palace. Mourinho could slot in Eric Bially in the heart of the back four.

Alan Pardew: "England are missing a trick here because this boy is only 23. He goes to Manchester United because Sir Alex Ferguson and his team think this player has massive potential. Now that potential is coming through and anyone who was at the game today, from England. Wow! That report must be 10 out of 10, he was phenomenal today. He has had my advice but that will stay private between me and him. But I am an Englishman — I think it's pretty obvious," Pardew told Sky Sports.
