Pep Guardiola and his struggling Manchester City side hosted high flying Tottenham in premier league game on Saturday evening. It was a crucial game for top 4 race and Man City produced a superb first half performance which had everything but a goal. Tottenham just hanged in there for most part and finally their defense was beaten just after the half time break when Leroy Sane scored to make it 1-0.

Its a massive game as far as the title race is concerned because if Manchester City wins this game they will go pretty much out of sight at top of the table with 7 points lead after only 7 games into the season. Pressure is on Tottenham and other teams such as Liverpool, United, Arsenal will be hoping for a Spurs win here. Since the international break falls next weekend its mighty important for Spurs to get something out of this game.
Spurs has enjoyed impressive results over Manchester City in last couple of season and their recent meeting ended in Spurs winning 2-1 back in February 2016. However Pep Guardiola has transformed City into a free flowing team who are scoring goals for fun at the moment.

Only absentee will be Kevin De Bruyne and it will be a big one as he has been the main architecture on City’s incredible run of results.
