The Cavaliers look to bounce back against DeMarcus Cousins and the Kings.
The Sacramento Kings (17-27) beat the Detroit Pistons on Monday to snap their five game losing streak. Behind DeMarcus Cousins and Ty Lawson, the Kings looked resurgent after a couple of tough losses to Chicago and Indiana. Against the Pistons the Kings, they were solid on the offensive side, shooting 48 percent from the field and scoring 109 points. Many wondered how the Kings would respond after starting forward Rudy Gay suffered a season-ending injury last week, but so far the Kings have shown great effort and resilience. Moving forward, the Kings are going to rely heavily on star center DeMarcus Cousins, who has put up monster numbers this month, averaging 25 points per game and averaging 10.5 rebounds a game.
The Cleveland Cavaliers (30-13) suffered possibly their worst loss of the season on Monday as they lost to the New Orleans Pelicans. Many expected the Cavs to walk all over the lowly Pelicans especially after Anthony Davis was ruled out, but this was not the case. Behind Terrence Jones' huge performance, the Pelicans pulled off a huge upset, beating the Cavs 124-122. LeBron James stated his displeasure with the team following last night’s loss, stating that the Cavs need reinforcements if they want to repeat as NBA champions. Offense hasn’t been the problem for the Cavs over the past couple of games, but their defense has been. Last week, the Cavs gave up 126 points to the Warriors, 118 to the Spurs, and then 124 last night to the Pelicans. If the Cavs want to improve, they must play better team defense.

Sacramento Kings
The Kings shot 42.9 percent from the three-point line against the Pistons last time out and must replicate a similar performance from the three-point line if they expect to beat the Cavaliers. Cleveland obviously is not playing its best team ball as of late, and the Kings must play aggressive and take chances if they expect to win.
Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cavaliers allowed the Pelicans to hit 16 three-pointers in Monday's loss and must improve on their perimeter defense if they expect to beat the Kings. In their match-up versus the Kings, the Cavs allowed DeMarcus Cousins to have a big night as Cousins had 26 points and 11 assists. The Cavs, this time out, must limit Cousins' offensive performance if they want to win.
