Barcelona to appeal the three players' Yellow Card

Barcelona appeal against yellow cards received by Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic and Thomas Vermaelen in the game against Athletic Bilbao at the end of last week.

Appeals filed after Barcelona judge referee Carlos del Cerro Grande too much in decisions revoke a yellow card for his squad at San Mames.

There was Suarez and Rakitic are subject to a yellow card for blocking the motion of another player by hand, while Vermaelen warned for dropping the Bilbao players.

"The club consider the reason is in the referee's report is redundant and therefore appealed to the competition committee," Barcelona said in a statement on Wednesday (26/8).
