Young Lakers backcourt, Jordan Clarkson and D'Angelo Russell

Steve Nash was already retired from the world of basketball, especially the NBA. However, that does not mean he now does not contribute to the development of young basketball players. He trained specifically young shooting guard newly drawn LA Lakers, Jordan Clarkson (23 years), since January. Nash has a distinctive impression against Clarkson.

"In my opinion, Jordan (Clarkson) is a young player who wants to work hard and humble. In addition, confidence is high. He always wanted to learn, and it keeps getting better," said Nash. He also felt excited by the presence of young point guard, D'Angelo Russell (19 years), to the Lakers. "D'Angelo is a guard with a great body and be able to do handle the ball very good. This season will be interesting to see the Lakers backcourt. I hope D'Angelo also can join a private practice with me."

Special D'Angelo Russell, although he plays as a point guard, did not necessarily make admire Steve Nash, former Lakers player who plays like him. He is idolized Kobe Bryant, the legendary shooting guard who until now was with the Lakers.

"People are talking about Michael Jordan and idolize him, but Kobe is Jordan for me. I grew teenagers do not watch the game Jordan, Magic Johnson, Byron Scott or Larry Bird. In fact I was not born then," said D'Angelo. "I grew up with many watching the game Kobe, Allen Iverson and Tracy McGrady.

D'Angelo said that he was lucky can now play together as a team with Kobe, although at times before finally retiring. For him, Kobe is in the same level with Jordan.

Certainly interesting to see the pace duo of guard (backcourt) along with the Lakers next season. Having a mentor Steve Nash plus classmates are in the same team with great players sorts of Kobe Bryant, it would be very good for the development of both games.
