The 26-year-old defender has officially signed for five seasons with Los Che and put an end to his adventures in the AS Monaco.
"My agent had been to Barcelona, also English and Italian, but finally I'm here and very happy," said Tunisia's international retainer.
"The negotiations with Valencia runs short. Previously I had many offers, but the offer from Valencia very tempting."
