Players born 24 years ago claimed almost left the capital of Spain, but now he is ready to seize the place.
"It was determined by the club [that I will not go]. It showed Madrid did not want anyone to recruit me, "said Cheryshev told Sport Express.
"There is an interest [in the summer] but Madrid did not want to let me go.
"I am aware of Cristiano Ronaldo to play in my position but it does not scare me. When I got the chance, I will take it. I'm not afraid of anything. "
