Amadeo Salvo, Francisco Rufete and Roberto Ayala left the Mestalla this summer. Their role was replaced by Chan Lay Hoon - assistant to the owner of the club, Peter Lim - and Mendes and Nuno.
Kempes was not satisfied with this policy and criticized the club.
