Mauricio Pochettino praised Heung-Min Son who scored a pair of goals in a 3-1 win over Qarabag in the Europa League on Friday (18/9) early morning hrs earlier.
South Korea winger came from Bayer Leverkusen with a ransom £ 22 million in the summer transfer window. He has not recorded a single goal since joining, but immediately scored a pair of goals against Qarabag.
Pochettino was impressed with the performance of Son - who was played as a striker replacing Harry Kane.
"He scored two goals and played an hour," said Pochettino was quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "His appearance - you can see that I'm very satisfied with it, very happy. Adaptations in the club is going well from the beginning."
"I think I have explained earlier in the game contra Sunderland that Son can play as a striker. He can play wide. He has the quality to play in various positions on the field," he said.
