Pierce Want Champion in Hometown

Pierce Want Champion in Hometown - Status as a veteran basketball player did not make Paul Pierce discouraged. Recruited LA Clippers in the trade exchange, Pierce confident that he could contribute to the Clippers, though not as the main player. Age on October 13 will be increased to 38 years, so he was quite "know yourself" and willing to be a reserve player who could be lowered if the time required. Nevertheless, he still will be all out to achieve victory for his team.
Pierce brought the Clippers at the discretion of the coach, Doc Rivers. As we know, Rivers is a former coach while still strengthening Pierce Boston Celtics about a decade ago. Together with the Celtics, they won the championship title in 2008. Now, at the end of his career, Pierce wants to serve with the Clippers, the team who lives in his native California. The player nicknamed "The Truth" is hoping to win the NBA Clippers this season, so he can retire from basketball world peace.
"If we (the Clippers) won the NBA, to be honest the chances I'll retire from the world of basketball," said Pierce. "Of course this will be a beautiful dream, could be in the hometown of the championship trophy last paraded in the streets of Manchester Bouleverd (one of the areas in California). I am very excited to welcome the moment."

Pierce believes he can pass on attitude and a winning mentality to the other Clippers players. Yes, the Clippers was met by an experienced NBA stars like Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, until Lance Stephenson. However, these players have never even tasted the championship title in his career. Clippers itself also has never won the championship since it was first established in 1970.

Of course it would be wonderful if Pierce can help Clippers and Chris Paul cs maiden championship title this season, while closing his career with pride in their own native land.
