Tyler Blackett joined Celtic on the blessing of Louis Van Gaal

Tyler Blackett revealed that his decision to join Celtic in loans with the full support of Manchester United's manager, Louis van Gaal.

According to him, Van Gaal call if his move to the Scottish giants would be good for his development as a young footballer.

"There are a lot of good players in the squad for the U-21, but you'll be happy to try out the ability of the older and more experienced players," said Blackett.

"United are the biggest club in the world and it is difficult for young players to compete, but that's the challenge."
