Arsene Wenger: Arsenal Will Attack Olympiakos - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said his team will apply the attacking play in the final match of Group F Champions League against Olympiakos at the Karaiskakis Stadium on Thursday (10/12) pm dawn.
The Gunners needed a victory over Olympiakos with the advantage of two goals or more in order to qualify from the group phase. If it fails to qualify, they will drop into the Europa League.
Wenger hopes his team can win and qualify and maintain records always drove to the fall phase since the 1999/2000 season.
"Personally, the record was a lot of sense because it's important for the club and the players. I want to win and qualify. To me, our job is to win in the next game and do what is asked," Wenger said on the club's official website.
"There's a positive thing for us. We know exactly what to do. We know that we have to come there for that since the beginning of [the game]. So, let's do it and hope we can get away."
Arsenal lost 3-2 to Olympiakos at the Emirates Stadium at a meeting last October.
