Real Madrid's second Cheryshev appeal dismissed - Real Madrid have seen their second appeal against expulsion from the Copa del Rey for fielding an ineligible player held up by the Administrative Tribunal for Sport (TAD), who say they do not have all the relevant files to rule on the case.

Madrid were kicked out of the competition for playing Denis Cheryshev in the first-leg of their round-of-32 tie with Cadiz.

The Russian had been handed a suspension after picking up three bookings in last season's competition during his time at Villarreal, but he started against Cadiz and opened the scoring after three minutes as his side picked up a 3-1 win.
