Barcelona F1 Pre-season Test [1]: Celis to lead off for Force India in F1 test -  Alfonso Celis Jr will have the honour of driving Sahara Force India's new contender for the 2016 Formula 1 World Championship, the VJM09, as part of a two day stint in the car alongside race drivers Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg.

The Mexican, who will race in Formula V8 3.5 this season, was announced as Force India's new test and reserve driver towards the end of 2015, with the youngster getting his first taste of F1 machinery at the post-season Abu Dhabi tyre test.

However, Force India has confirmed to Crash.net that he will be back in the car for the first pre-season test of 2016 at the Circuit de Catalunya, stepping out in the new VJM09 on Monday and again on Thursday, with Perez and Hulkenberg drivng Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

Force India, which enjoyed its best-ever F1 season in 2015 en route to fifth in the constructors' championship, will unveil the Mercedes-powered VJM09 in the Circuit de Cataluunya pit lane before it hits the track with Celis Jr at the wheel.
