Dortmund dismiss claims Gundogan will join Man City - The Germany international has been linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium in the Spanish press, but the Bundesliga outfit claim they know nothing of any deal
Borussia Dortmund have refuted claims that Ilkay Gundogan has chosen to join Manchester City instead of Barcelona this summer.

Spanish newspaper Sport reported that Gundogan would not renew his contract with the Bundesliga outfit and would look to move on at the end of the season.

But Dortmund insist they know nothing of the Germany international's wish to leave and called out the publication on their story.

Replying to Sport's story via their Twiitter account, Dortmund said: "Really? We should know about that, shouldn't we? Truth is, we don't know anything about that."
