This season, the Clippers have defeated the Suns twice. In their first game against the Suns, Blake Griffin had 21 points and 11 rebounds in the Clippers' 116-98 win. In the Clippers' second game against the Suns, J.J. Redick had 22 points as the Clippers beat the Suns again 109-98.
The Phoenix Suns (15-33) lost to the Memphis Grizzlies 115-96 at home on Tuesday night. The Suns struggled defensively against Memphis, letting the Grizzlies hit 16 three pointers. The Suns are currently on a four game losing streak and are 3-7 in their last ten games. Phoenix looks to beat the Clippers for the first time this season after losing twice earlier in the year to them. In both games, the Suns struggled on defense to hold the Clippers offense, letting them score over 109 points in both games. One player for the Suns who has played well against LA is point guard Eric Bledsoe, who has averaged 17 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists against the Clippers this season.

The Suns must play great team defense if they stand any chance of beating the Clippers for the first time this season. The Suns have been terrible on defense this season, letting up 112.1 points per game. If the Suns can find ways to limit the Clippers on offense, they could pull off the upset at home.
