Danilo was injured when Brazil's 4-1 win over the United States was last week. Madrid also has conducted further tests and revealed that there was damage to the plantar fascia in his right foot.
Madrid did not mention the exact time of the injury recovery. As for such injuries typically takes three to four weeks to recover fully.
As a result, the Brazilian right-back will miss the next seven games, including a derby derby against Atletico Madrid on 4th October.
