Nolan, 33, released by the Hammers in the summer by mutual agreement after four years of inhabiting Upton Park, where he scored 31 goals from 157 appearances.
Until now, Nolan has not managed to get a new club and decided to train with Orient, which is still located in London, for talks with the former West Ham first team coach Ian Hendon, who is now a manager at Brisbane Road.
Meanwhile, the former midfielder Bolton Wanderers and Newcastle United that will last the Orient until an unspecified time, while still uncertain whether he was willing to sign a contract with the club.

For now, Leyton tops in League Two, having won five of six games earlier in the season premiere.
