Louis Van Gaal: Memphis Depay Need Time

Louis Van Gaal: Memphis Depay Need Time - Louis van Gaal, manager of Manchester United, did not want to overburden Memphis Depay with expectations at Old Trafford.

Dutch winger had just joined from PSV Eindhoven last summer and he has scored two goals in seven games with Man United.

The winger appeared less convincing last weekend and Van Gaal admitted to not worry about that.

"As a manager, you are never satisfied, but he played well. He played in every game and it was not easy. Of course, he had to adapt to the high rhythm of the Premier League, but he will develop," said Van Gaal.

"I have to be patient with Memphis and the fans to be patient. You can not demand consistency from young players and you have to receive him," said the manager.

Man United will face PSV in the group phase of the Champions League tomorrow Wednesday (16/9) early morning.
