Paris Saint-Germain Donates € 1 Million for Refugees

Paris Saint-Germain announced it will donate 1 million to help the Syrian refugees.

In recent weeks, millions of people were forced to leave their homes following the ongoing war in the Middle East and fled to Europe, then to the attention of a number of football clubs.

Previously there Porto, Real Madrid, AS Roma and Bayern Munich who have offered financial assistance, while Uefa confirmed € 1 from every ticket sold in the Champions League and the Europa League will be donated to the refugees.

In an official statement PSG president Secourt Populaire charity Laupretre Julien said: "We have done projects with PSG over the years to help children in France.

"Now we are pleased to extend this partnership to respond to the urgency of the refugee crisis. Support Paris Saint-Germain Foundation would be very useful to develop our project. "
