Jorge Lorenzo were very disappointed with the weather Philip Island, he was unable to do much and just had as many as 24 laps around the circuit.

"It was a frustrating day for everyone," said Lorenzo. "We need to make a few laps to see how the motor with new electronic and Michelin tires.
"Finally, on the final lap we tried a tire slicks. It was a strange feeling. Really, I do not know what happened yesterday. Today we have to look to see the results of the whole with sufficient time.
"We were lucky because the weather was less supportive Philip Island. There are conditions that do not mix completely wet and not dry completely perfect.
"In such conditions it is very difficult to drive a motorcycle, but it's important to set-up the motor. Finally we only had two laps with slicks tires. It was a very strange feeling," added Lorenzo.
On the opening day yesterday, Lorenzo was in 16th position, behind the second position after Dani Pedrosa.
