Only the day wearing motorcycle MotoGP, Stoner berate - Casey Stoner felt that a single MotoGP ECU system which was implemented this year too sophisticated and no different with electronics manufacturers over the years.
Keep in mind that the three major manufacturers in MotoGP; Yamaha, Honda and Ducati who together develop a single ECU software with Dorna team for Magneti Marelli engineers, and as well as sophisticated electronic random Stoner retired from MotoGP in 2012 ago.
The main objective is the application of a single ECU to reduce the cost of racing that is too high and provide the opportunity for all drivers to receive electronic equivalent.
Speaking after the first day after the test the Ducati MotoGP bike in a private test at Sepang on Saturday (30/1) Stoner said:
"In my opinion, ECU still very powerful. So MotoGP remains as when I left first, very different when the previous 2006-2007. In the past the role of electronics is very small and will not affect the speed and skill of your race.
"So this is still a very sophisticated and potential riders could not get out the maximum. They will be busy for the study program and electronic systems only.
"To be honest, the motor once when I retire and motor now makes no difference, everything was spoiled with electronics," complained driver from Australia.
