Ferrari to reveal 2016 F1 challenger this week

Ferrari to reveal 2016 F1 challenger this week - Ferrari has confirmed it will pull the wraps of its 2016 Formula 1 World Championship challenger on Friday 19th February ahead of the first pre-season test.

The Italian marque, which returned to race winning glory in 2015 en route to second in the constructors' standings, will reveal its as yet-unnamed car in an online launch at 14.00CET (13.00GMT), three days before it hits the track in Spain.

Ferrari has given little away about the new car, but Italian media is reporting it could perform a slight break with tradition with its livery, harking back to former cars with a darker hue of red and potentially more white and black.

The Italian marque retains Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen for its 2016 F1 bid, with the car on track for the first time at the Circuit de Catalunya on Monday 22nd February.
